Polygel All you need to know

Polygel Nails all you need to know

What is Polygel?

What is this polygel everyone is raving about? Is it the next big thing in nails? should you be in to polygel?

Well, we will answer all your questions – first of all, Polygel is acrylic powder in gel base. It is a hybrid between acrylic and hardgel. It is the best of gel and acrylic, in one simple product. It has the good qualities of hard acrylic without the downside. But before we get too excited, let us dig in to the details, break it down.

Technological Breakthrough

It is a breakthrough nail enhancement that can be applied as an overlay or used to sculpt a full set of nails. The formula delivers a flexible featherlight nail – the nails feel really light, but are stronger than hardgel.

The first great thing is polygel comes pre-mixed in a tube container. So you do not have to worry about getting the mixing ratio right – too hard or too thin, no monomers, no mixing. It is easy to mould in to position using the slip-solution that comes with the pack. Be sure to use correct slip solution for the brand you use – the slip solution helps mould the polygel in to place, making it more malleable.

The polygel will not set in to the shape or position you have moulded it in to – until you cure it under a UV lamp. So you have time to work your magic. It will not dry up – out of place like traditional acrylic.

Another great thing, polygel does not need to be soaked off in acetone – you can simply buffer it away, slowly.
